Bernardo P. Carvalho (Portugal) is an illustrator and co-founder of Planeta Tangerina, where he works since 1999. He creates projects that mainly focus on illustration and design, cooperating in the creation of titles directed towards younger readers. Bernardo has been the recipient of several international prizes and awards.
Sara Lundberg (Sweden) is a multifaceted artist, illustrator and writer that comfortably shifts between books, paintings and video form. She has written and illustrated her own books but has also worked on other people’s projects. She has won several awards and prizes in her career including the August Prize in 2017 for her book Fågeln i mig flyger vart den vill.
Joohee Yoon (USA) is an illustrator and printmaker that contributes regularly to publications such as the New York Times and the New Yorker, in addition to working on books, advertising and various other projects. She has taught at the Rhode Island School of Design, along with giving talks and leading workshops abroad.
Maisie Paradise Shearring (UK) is an illustrator and storyteller. She has been featured in a picture book exhibition at the National Gallery of Scotland, and in April 2015 Maisie won the International Award for Illustration at Bologna Children’s Book Fair. She is also a lecturer at Cambridge School of Art on the MA in Children’s Book Illustration and a tutor at Orange Beak Studio.
